Kinesio taping

Kinesio tape mimics the qualities of the skin. Wouldn't it be great to strengthen a muscle without thinking about it. While the tape is on it is giving you a therapeutic affect 24/7.

The systems effected by the body are thought to include the circulatory/lymphatic, neural, muscular, and fascial systems, as well as the joints. The point of difference between traditional taping methods and kinesio tape is it allows the area being supported to move the way it is designed. The facilitation of movement is essential in shorter recovery times to a multitude of musculoskeletal problems. This is due to the patient minimising the time for scar tissue being layed down. Scar tissue is layed down with every injury, it is a matter of reducing the amount, to shorten the recovery process. Even though you hardly feel it, most patients report a sense of support, and generally easier to move the area of injury.
