| 1st visit |
|
The first visit will entail the Chiropractor listening to your history and any concerns that you may have. This is based about getting a good understanding of the prospective patient. It is all about the patient relaying information, what they want out of the coming to a Chiropractor at Life Balance Chiropractic.
Why an x-ray you may ask? To make sure the symptoms, that have been relayed, match the spinal integrity of the patient. As we are spinal specialists, a picture speaks a thousand words. If there is objections to having an x-ray, we can discuss the merits of your particular situation. We can still treat people without x-ray, it will mean that certain manual adjustments may not be performed. The first visit is essential for the patient to relay all information as anything that has happened through out life now has a bearing on the current symptomology. Once the Chiropractor has all the information, just like specialists, we will review all infomation ready for the second visit. We adjust bones in the spinal column, as do surgeons of the spine, both professionals would not "operate" on the spine without all the information at hand.
